Advertising their marital status with their locks, Greek women from a civilization gone by, wore their hair long with elaborately fashioned locks , ever wondered how they maintained their beautiful tresses ...?
Struggling with dry hair and too much static from all the dry wintery weather , coupled with the furnace heat , our hair was in a miserable mess, to say the least! Hoping to restore some health back into our crowning glory , we looked for something simple and easy which did not reqiure us to spend our paycheck !… We tried it and think it works…
Note: you need to be consistent, you cannot rush Mother Nature …it will take time. So once or twice a week for over three months and people will begin to notice.
Before you get excited and go ahead with it…please make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients and do not forget to read our disclaimer. We have been using this hair pack for some time now and this recipe was given to us by a friend…so we do not know the source.
About 75% of an avocado's calories come from fat and that is good news for your hair. Fat is good for your hair as it relieves the stress caused by blow drying and heat. Olive oil adds sheen and hydrates your hair. The lemon juice adds aromatic freshness. The protein in the egg helps reconstruct the damage and make it strong and shiny.
Mash the pulp of one ripe avocado. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 egg and juice of half lemon. . Mix until creamy and then apply to your hair. Leave for 20 minutes and then wash out with a gentle shampoo....
Your tresses will thank you!!
