French Bread Pizza And A Movie

If you are tired of watching action flicks with your significant other...it is time for you to plan a movie night with the girls.  There's nothing quite like curling up on the sofa in cozy pj's with some great snacks, a good love story and your close friends. It is not so much about the movie...it is just being with good friends....chatter between the movie yet no one shushing ...giggles and yummy munchies.

The Food

Fresh Fruit Ginger Ale, Orange Juice, Pink Lemonade, Fruit Punch or/and

A  cup of coffee

Hummus with some pita chips

Popcorn

Spicy roasted corn cut in bite sizes and

French Bread Pizza

Red and white striped napkins and plates (available at party supply stores) can add to the star studded night.  If you need movie suggestions see  the O-magazine's list of 50 greatest chick flicks  also check out 100 greatest movies .

French bread pizza

Slice french bread, drizzle some olive oil, smear a tbs full of marinara sauce on .... top it with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms - finely chopped and some baby spinach, you could add all or a combination of a few. Add your favorite blend of cheese - I used a blend of Mozzarella, Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Sprinkle some Italian seasoning followed by salt and freshly ground pepper. Bake for 10-12 min at 350 F, or till cheese is melted and the french bread is toasted. Serve Hot!!
