Lavender

Growing Lavender  from seed has been an enriching experience and waiting to see it bloom has  done  what our mom's could  not do......... taught us patience !!!!!!!

It has taken 2 years to bloom , but definitely worth the wait , we have some 'Lady Lavender' and some 'English Lavender' growing wild in our backyards. The sweet fragrance wafting from it as we brush against it cannot be described in words.

Do yourself a favor and get some lavender samplings and pot it up where you can smell it everyday , it will perk you up as no caffeine can!!

  1. I simply love lavender smell. I have one plant outside in the front yard and it doesn't smell that much, but just rub few flowers in your palm and I can pretty much go in another world :)
